BATTERY CHARGING AND MAINTENANCE

Page 53

Charging the battery 

The battery can be charged either without removing it from the battery compartment or by removing it from the battery compartment using its handle

Charging the battery in place  

•

Connect the battery charger to the 220 V mains socket 

•

Connect the charger to the plug under the saddle 

The  light  on  the  charger  flashes  and  when  the  light  turns  steady  green  it  indicates 

that the battery is fully charged. 

Charging the battery removed from the TilChap 

•

Disconnect the plug on the battery  

•

Remove the battery from the battery compartment 

•

Connect  the  charger  first  to  the  battery  socket  and  then  to  the  220  V  mains  socket

.  The  light  on  the 

charger flashes and when the light turns steady green, this indicates that the battery is fully charged.
