INSPECTION/CHECK
1. General
A. A preliminary cleaning before initial inspection will facilitate location of obvious
defects.
B. Visually inspect working parts under strong light and magnification for cracks.
Inspect structure for distortion, corrosion, crossed or stripped threads and
excessive wear that might impair the function of the equipment.
2. Electrical
A. Inspect electrical wiring and connection points for damage, deteriorated insulation
and loose wires.
B. Check coffee brewer connector for loose, bent, or broken pins, deformed shell, or
evidence of arcing of flashover at pin-insert insulation.
C. Check terminal strip for cracked insulation and loose terminals
D. Check switch function (check open and closed position circuit function with
volt/ohmmeter at switch terminals). Check for evidence of arcing or flashover.
3. Plumbing
A. Check tubing for leakage, flattening, cracked, split, loose or worn ends.
B. Check tank assembly for leakage, deterioration or cracks.
