Take your time and read the following instructions and infor-
mation completely. Please keep these instructions in a safe
place for future reference. If you sell the device, please pass
these operating instructions on to the new owner.

easily accessible.

Disconnect the product from the network using the power
button – if this is not available, unplug the power cord from
the socket.

Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major
shocks.

6. Startup and Operation
6.1 Antenna
Note
Please note that the number and quality of stations
received may vary depending on the position of the
antenna and local conditions.
6.1.1 Powering the antenna using a power supply unit
(Fig. 2)
•
Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna to the set-top
box or TV.
•
Connect the power supply unit to the antenna’s DC input
(1) and plug the power supply unit into an electrical socket.
(Please use only the power unit supplied with the product.)
•
Move the switch (2) all the way to the left to the “Ant”
position. The LED (5) lights up red.
•
Switch on the TV (and the set-top box, if present).
•
Check the reception quality. If the reception quality is
not good, adjust the position or angle of the antenna.
Depending on the station, the amplifier performance must
be adjusted using the dial (3) on the back.
•
Switch off the antenna when it is not in use. To do this,
move the switch (2) to the middle position.
