Installation
2. Turn on the connected devices
and position the aerial towards
the nearest TV transmitter for
best reception.
1. Connect the aerial lead from the indoor aerial directly to the
aerial input on the digital receiver.
2. Most terrestrial digital receivers can power aerials via their
aerial output sockets. The power supply function must be
activated in the digital receiver’s menu. It is often called
aerial/antenna power or 5 V.
3. Connect the digital receiver to the TV via the SCART or aerial
lead (not included).
Operating Instructions
For best reception you should aim your aerial towards the nearest
TV transmitter and decide on the aerial’s polarisation. Most TV
transmitters send with horizontal polarisation, but some areas
may still send with vertical polarisation.
3. The aerial has a built-in gain control which can be adjusted
for the best reception during difficult reception periods.
- Turn the knob clockwise (+) to increase amplification.
- Turn the knob anticlockwise (-) to decrease amplification.
N.B.
Do not adjust the amplifier more than necessary since high
amplification can also increase possible interference. A very bad
picture is usually not corrected by amplification. An external aerial
may be a necessity.
Disposal
When it is time to dispose of the product, dispose of
it according to your local ordinances. If you are unsure
