General (all functions)
The unit cannot be operated
• Are the mains connection cable, plug and socket intact?
• Before checking, unplug the mains cable; have any repairs done
only by authorised specialists
• Is the unit switched on?

Vacuum cleaning (dry vacuuming)
Dust escapes during vacuuming
• Is the Aquafilter system fitted according to the user manual?
• Is there sufficient water in the waste water container?

Suction power gradually decreases
• Is the EPA filter clogged?
➔
Clean the EPA filter
• Are nozzles, suction tube or hose blocked by coarse dirt?
➔
Stretching the hose during operation loosens the blockage;
remove blockage
• Is the housing cover properly closed?

Check
Suction power is too low
• Is the ejector in the intake neck blocked?
➔
Disassemble and
clean or rinse out with water
• Is the EPA filter clogged?

Clean the EPA filter
• Are nozzles, suction tube or hose blocked by coarse dirt?

Disassemble and clean
• Is the electronic suction power control set to MIN?

opening of the unit
• Is the floater in the waste water container soiled and no longer
functional, in other words, it can no longer respond if the con

Clean the floater and container
An unusually large amount of water
collects in the suction chamber (a
few drops are considered normal)
• Are gaskets and sealed surfaces heavily soiled?

• Has the spray extraction insert been forgotten?

Unusually heavy foam forms in the
waste water container
• Was original THOMAS cleaning concentrate used?

Replace
No cleaning fluid comes out
although the pump is switched on
• Is there cleaning fluid in the spray solution tank?

Refill
• Is the spray nozzle clogged?

Lay the nozzle in lukewarm
water for a while and then blow it out forcefully
• Is the tank connection hole clogged?
➔
Take out the fresh
water container and thoroughly vacuum out the tank connection
opening (connection between fresh water tank and housing)
using the crevice nozzle to remove any dirt deposits
Residual moisture is too high,
cleaning fluid is not suctioned up
properly
• Is the electronic suction power control set to MIN?

Set the
suction power to MAX
• Is the mechanical suction power control on the handle opened?
➔
Close the sliding button on the handle
• Does the nozzle lie correctly on the floor?

Set the nozzle
