13. Install a new O-ring on the end cap, as shown in
Fig. 14 . Lubricate the O-ring with compressor oil.
14. Properly orient the end cap against the compres-
sor. Reference the alignment lines made earlier.
Use the six end cap bolts to attach the end cap
to the compressor. Using an Allen wrench,
tighten the bolts 96 lbf·in (1085 N·cm). See
Fig. 15 .
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the end cap plug seal
is in place on the end cap plug. See
Fig. 16 .
