Press [F5] ( ‘MIDI PLAY/REC’ ) to open the MIDI recorder.

The list of available MIDI files appears on the display. If there are no MIDI
files yet, ‘Record 01’ is shown at the top of the display.

Press [F2] ( ‘RECORD’ ) to set the parameters for the recording.

Use or to select one the following settings:
‘Pattern’ Selects the pattern to be overwritten
‘Drum Track
Volume’
Controls the drum track volume
‘Synchronized
Start’
The recording starts when you begin playing.
‘Count In’ Selects the pre-counts ( ‘0’ … ‘4’ )
‘Click Volume’ Controls the metronome volume
‘Time Signature’ Determines the metronome time signature

Confirm with [ENTER] .
5. Press [REC] on the panel to start recording.

Press [PLAY/STOP] on the panel to stop recording.

2. Use [+] or [–] or the jog wheel to select the track to be played and confirm with
[ENTER] .
3. Press [F1] ( ‘PLAY’ ) to play the selected track.

A pop-up window opens up in which the name and a counter of the play‐
back time are displayed.

Press [PLAY/STOP] on the panel to start or stop recording.

The list of available MIDI files appears on the display.

Use [+] or [–] or the jog wheel to select the track to be exported from the
internal memory to an USB memory medium and confirm with [ENTER] .
3.
Press [F3] ( ‘EXPORT’ ) to export the selected track. If there is no USB storage
medium available, a corresponding error message appears.
