8.3 ‘SONG’ menu
In ‘SONG’ menu, you can play along with audio files or be accompanied live. You can
also record your own playing and play it later. MIDI recordings can also be used as a
pattern.
There are two demo tracks that appear as the first two tracks in the ‘SONG’ menu.
The tempo cannot be adjusted for demo tracks.

Press [SONG] to call up the ‘SONG’ menu.

The following data on the current track is shown on the display: ‘LENGTH’ ,
‘TEMPO’ , ‘BPM’ and ‘TIME SIGNATURE’ .

Use or to select one of the settings ( ‘LEVEL’ , ‘LOOP’ , ‘PRE COUNT’ ) and
confirm with [ENTER] .

Use [+] or [–] or the jog wheel to select the desired parameters and confirm
with [ENTER] .
8.3.1 Track editing

Press [F2] ( ‘EDIT’ ) to edit a track.

Use or to select one the following settings:
‘Accompaniment
Volume’
Controls the accompaniment volume.
‘Drum Track Volume’ Controls the drum track volume.
‘Kit Link’ ‘on’ / ‘off’
Enables or disables maintaining the preprogrammed
drum sound associated with the demo track
‘Click Volume’ Metronome volume
‘Track Mute’ Selects the audio track that is addressed by ‘PART’
3. Confirm with [ENTER] .

Use [+] or [–] or the jog wheel to select the desired parameter and confirm with
[ENTER] .
8.3.2 Playing and recording your own drum pieces
You can record or play tracks with MIDI or audio. The audio mode requires a USB
storage medium, the MIDI recorder saves to the internal memory.
