General safety provisions
and general informations
This document provides all the information neces­
sary to perform the installation of Aircare ESW as
far as windows fitter is concerned.
Please observe these general safety provisions, in­
cluding the warnings, comments and instructions
contained in this operation and mainteinance manual.
Failure to follow the general safety provisions, war­
nings, comments and instructions can result in injury
and/or dama ge to persons and/or things, including the
product Aircare ESW unit whose Thesan S.p.A. it will
not respond in any way.
Aircare ESW can only be installed, connected and
maintained by experienced qualified electricians or
window installers having the proper skills as a result
of specific training or professional expertise and
who can guarantee that the works will be perfor­
med correctly.
Aircare ESW must be installed in compliance with
regu lations and standards regarding construction,
windows and doors, and electric systems currently
in force whe re the unit is to be installed.
Check components integrity before performing the
installation, if you have a doubt consult your dealer.
During the installation of
Aircare ESW should be
already prepared the corrugated plastic for the pas­
sage of electric cables. If there are already present
the electrical wire, disconnect the power supply du­
ring all installation operations.
Near Aircare ESW should not be placed heat
sources with temperatures above 50°C.
Make sure that the air inlet is positioned so that it
will not take in smoke or other exhausts.
Do not to install
Aircare ESW near sources of oil or
fat (for example, griddles or grills for cooking food).
If Aircare ESW serves a room containing equipment
fed by flammable substances, the installer must
make sure that there is an adequate turnover of air
for all equipment installed.
Check that the air inlet created by
Aircare ESW
does not affect appliances that burn flammable
substances.
Do not cover or insert any foreign objects into the air
inlets or outlets while the Aircare ESW is running.
Do not use Aircare ESW in such environments as
la boratories/factories where hazardous gases such
as alkaline gases are used, or in places which may
present fumes of organic solvents, varnishes, or
other corrosive substances.
Never disconnect
Aircare ESW operation by
pulling on the electrical wires; always use the ON/
OFF button or the re mote control.
Never make any modifications to the
Aircare ESW .
Aircare ESW must not be opened and di­
smantled without suitable tools; Only qualified
personnel — who have acquired the necessary
skills through special training or professional ac­
tivity — can guarantee proper execution of the
works and only they can handle internal compo­
nents of the Aircare ESW unit, including the fan.
Class 2 equipment.
The grounding must be ensured by connecting
the appropriate cable grounding.
Aircare ESW
must not operate without the filters, pe­
nalty invalidation of warranty claims.
