Installing the Breather Plug
Install the breather plug to vent heat and pressure. Failure to do so could
result in pressure buildup which could damage the reducer.
For shipment, the reducer is filled with lubricant and sealed to prevent
lubrication loss.

REMOVE THE O-RING(S) from the breather plug hole. See Figure 1.

CHECK THE LUBRICANT LEVEL in the reducer to make sure no lubricant
was lost during shipment. Refer to the reducer manufacturer’s instructions.
