There are 2 wiring methods for current channels depending on voltage source:

Voltage source taken from the logger (Vout) with 2 possible connections:

RTD Inputs (A3
– A4)
RTD channel will read 3 wire PT100 and there are 2 possible connections:
-
pin 3 + 4 on one lead and pin 1 on other lead
-
pin 6 + 7 on one lead and pin 1 on other lead

Digital/ Serial Input Connectors (D1
– D2)
Counter Inputs (D1)
Counter inputs use 6 pin connector with a total 3 connected sensors.

These counter inputs rely on impulse signal in which transient change of signal amplitude occurs. However it may be
used to read dry contact signal (i.e: reed contact) as long as external voltage is applied to generate the impulse signal.
