2. Click OK .
3. Exit the Instrument Configuration program. When asked whether to
save the configuration changes, click Save .
This completes the pump setup. Go on to Section 4 .
3.2 Chromeleon 6.8: Pump Setup
Start the Server Configuration Program
1. Stop all batches, programs, and data acquisition events on the
Chromeleon Server that hosts the pump to be updated.
2. If it is not already running, start the Chromeleon Server Monitor
program. (Click Start > All Programs > Chromeleon > Server
Monitor .)
The Server Monitor status message should read “Chromeleon Server
is running idle.”
3. Start the Chromeleon Server Configuration program. (Click Start >
All Programs > Chromeleon > Server Configuration .)
4. If necessary, click the plus sign beside the server name to display the
items underneath.
5. Expand the contents of the timebase that includes the pump to be
updated by clicking the plus sign next to the timebase.
6. In the Server Configuration program, right-click the pump to be
updated and click Properties .
The Properties dialog box for the pump appears. In this example, the
pump is a Dionex ICS-3000 DP.
