1.
Check power is properly applied.
2.
Check communications wires are properly connected.
3.
Check baud rate, parity and station number.
4.
Check that the Comms Adapter is properly connected.
Fault not found: Replace DataStick or Comms Adapter.
1.
Check that the sensor head is properly connected.
2.
Cycle power.
3.
Reset DataStick memory.
4.
Remove sensor head and inspect internal connectors (clean & dry).
Fault not found: Replace Sensor Head.
If problem persists, replace DataStick.

1.
Cycle power.
2.
Reset DataStick memory.
Fault not found: If failure is Sensor Memory, replace Sensor Head.
If failure is in Configuration or Calibration Memory, replace DataStick.
No
1.
Check integrity of sensor electrodes, membranes and junctions.
2.
Check sensor configuration to be sure appropriate parameters are
properly set. These include: buffer type, pressure, salinity, temperature,
reference temperature, and reference slope.
3.
Check that the temperature reading is correct.
If it reads full-scale then the temperature element is open circuit.
4.
Check that sensor and temperature readings are stable in the
calibration solution. If not, wait for the sensor to reach equilibrium.
5.
Check that the calibration solutions are correct.
Fault not found: Refurbish or replace the sensor head.
