Location & Setup
When deciding where to locate the CryoStar NX70 / NX50, the following items must be taken into
consideration:

Approximately 10 cm (4 in) must be allowed around the cooling system to allow free air flow.

Approximately 15 cm (6 in) must be allowed between the wall and the rear panel .

The vents on the sides of the rear panel must be unobstructed at all times.

The mains power socket must be accessible at all times.

The location must be free from draughts, open doors or air conditioning systems.

The location must not expose the cryochamber to direct sunlight.

Enough room for height adjustment.
Note
These measures are intended to reduce the build-up of frost and maintain consistent cooling temperatures resulting in more
favorable working conditions. Locations which have high humidity and / or high ambient temperatures can reduce the
performance of the instrument.
Once the CryoStar NX70 / NX50 has been located, ensure the fixing bolts shown are
tightened to prevent the unit from moving during operation.
