Pump down significa recuperare tutto il gas refrigerante
nell’Unità Esterna senza perdere la carica del sistema. Serve
quando si deve riposizionare il condizionatore e per interventi
di riparazione sul circuito frigorifero
.
Pump down means collecting all refrigerant gas in the system
back into the outdoor unit without losing gas. Pump down
is used when the unit is to be moved of before servicing the
refrigerant circuit
.

PUMP DOWN
Collegare un gruppo manometrico a una valvola della bassa pressione, aprirla parzialmente
(1/4 di giro). Spurgare l’aria dal manometro. Chiudere completamente le valvole alta
pressione
.
Connect a valve manifold to the charge port on a wide tube service valve, partially open
it (1/4 turn). Let the air purge from the manifold. Fully close the narrow tube service
valves all the way
.
Rimuovere il gruppo manometrico. A questo punto l’operazione di PUMP DOWN é
completa poiché tutto il gas refrigerante é raccolto nell’unità esterna.
Remove the valve manifold. At that time, PUMP DOWN has been completed and all
refrigerant gas will have been collected in the outdoor unit.

Avviare il condizionatore in raffreddamento. Quando la pressione letta sul manometro
scende ad un valore compreso tra 1 e 0,5 Kg/cm
2
, chiudere completamente le valvole
bassa pressione e spegnere il condizionatore
.
Turn on the unit’s operating switch and start cooling operation. When the low-pressure
gauge reading falls to 1 to 0,5 Kg/cm
2
, fully close the wide tube valves and then quickly
turn off the unit.
