3.1.3 Fault: CENTRAL HEATING BUT No hot water at taps
Is the automatic air eliminator on top of the boiler in the
closed position causing air to trap in the top of the boiler?
No

Open the small screw cap on top of the
auto air eliminator
Is there ~230-240V at domestic pump terminals?
No
Yes
Check aqua stat. Temperature must be
lower
than temperature setting of
30ºC
Is domestic pump operating correctly? Are the pump
valves in the open position?
No
Yes
Open the pump valves. If they are
open, replace the pump
Is there circulation through the primary side of the plate
heat exchanger?
No
Disconnect primary flow from plate
heat exchanger and check for
blockage.

Is the hot water blending valve set correctly?

Yes
Adjust and retry
Is the pressure in the domestic expansion vessel
between 2.0bar and 3.5bar?
No
Recharge to correct pressure or
replace if burst.
Has the hot water resumed?

Check for blockage in filters. If clear,
replace hot water blending valve.
