Use the Edge Start setting, input the value 1, initiate a cut sequence in Auto Mode, when the torch
reaches the pierce point, an on-screen prompt requires a pierce number.
Pressing the [START]/[ENTER] key gives Pierce options:
PIERCE HERE the pre-programmed cutting sequence pierces at this point.
MOVE PIERCE POSITION this feature allows the operator to position the torch at the plate edge,
initiate the cutting sequence at that point, the system will cut to the pierce point and resume cutting
along the cut path.
NO PIERCE this option is used when piercing is not required.
Note:
With oxy-fuel cutting, remember to follow the full cutting cycle, ignition, preheat and cut.
9. 6. Manual mode
The Manual Mode is accessed through the main menu by pressing the [F2] key.
9.6.1. Manually controlled functions
The system can be manually controlled and input values altered using the menu function keys. The
screen content is the same as in the Auto Mode, with the default set to Manual. The manually input
Feed Rate Override Percentage and resulting speed shown relate to the Manual Jog Speed.
