6. Verification of adjustment
6.1 Horizontal laser line
Set up the TCL 8000 as described in section 2. and align each
on the X-axis and Y-axis along a measuring section
approximately 10 m long.
At the end of the measuring section make a mark at the level of
the laser beam. Starting with the X-axis, now turn the TCL 8000
consecutively by approx. 35° to the right and then to the left 35°
and check whether the height of the laser line changes against
the mark. The adjustment is okay if none or only an insignificant
(max. 2 mm) height difference is noted. Follow the same
procedure for the Y-axis. In case of major deviations, the
instrument must be inspected by a specialist shop and
recalibrated.
6.2 Vertical laser lines
Set up the TCL 8000 as described in section 2. Now perform
plumbing on an absolutely vertical measuring sections a least
3 m high, which has been defined first by a base and end point.
Set up the TCL 8000 at a distance of approx. 1 m before the
base point perpendicular to the measuring section; align the
vertical laser line at this so that it meets the base point. The
adjustment is okay of the line also hits the end point.
Carry out the check for all vertical lines X and Y.
Have the instrument recalibrated by a specialist shop in case of
greater distances.
