4. Power supply
4.1 TCL 8000
The batteries must be charged as soon as the battery indicator
light flashes. Open the cover of the battery compartment,
remove the batteries and place them in the charge station for
charging. Observe the correct polarity! A green LED on the
charge box lights up when the batteries are fully charged. Now
insert the batteries again into the battery compartment of the
laser. Observe the correct polarity (see note in battery
compartment). Normal alkaline batteries can also be used.
Properly dispose of the old alkaline batteries and replace by
new batteries (size AA). Now insert the battery cover again.
4.2 Detector TEK
If the battery indicator light flashes the battery (9 V, block)
should be replaced since the range may otherwise be limited.
Unscrew the screw of the battery cover and remove the cover.
Properly dispose of the old battery and observe the correct
polarity of the new battery (see symbol in battery compartment).
Now insert the battery cover again

5. Detector TEK
Switch on the detector by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The operating indicator light indicates the switched on state.
Use the Mode button to select the fine or coarse adjustment
(Fine is the default setting). The LED is lit in the fine range.
The LED is off in the coarse range.
The acoustic signal can be deactivated or activated using the
Horn button (Horn On is the default setting).
To align or detect the laser lines, the sensor window of the TEK
is aligned in the direction of the TCL 8000. The position of the
detector can be checked via the integrated levels.
