On channel 1 the astronomical switching has programmed a switch-off time for
each evening. If channel 2 has been activated as an astronomical channel, on
channel 2 a switch-off time has also been programmed for each evening.
Example: programming of a switch-off time for night interruption. Channel C1 should
switch off from Mon. to Fri. at 22:30 h.

During commissioning the time switch will have calculated from the astronomical
data the times for sunrise and sunset on each day of a year. Channel 1 of the time
switch switches on at sunset and off at sunrise.
The astronomical switching times can be interrupted or aborted at night, i.e. the
time switch can switch on every day at the beginning of twilight and switch off at
fixed programmed times in the night.
Channel 2 is a switching channel with normal 7-day switching times, date
changeover times and priority switching times. In addition channel 2 can be
activated as an astronomical channel (section 8.6).
The astronomical times cannot be changed. They can, however, be supplemented
separately with an offset for sunrise / sunset (section 8.5).
Every night at 24 h the clock loads the astronomical times for the current day from
the EEPROM.
