6.3 Setting the date and time (time switch with DCF antenna)
A. Automatic commissioning
Note:
During synchronization do not press
any
keys !
The synchronization attempt would then be aborted immediately.
To then achieve a restart, the key
RES
must be pressed again.
1.
The display counts from
00
to
59
(see Fig.
2
)
Depending on the reception quality of the DCF 77 signals, this
procedure can be repeated several times.
2.
If the time switch hsa received two complete signals, the symbol
RC
remains and the channel statuses are displayed (see Fig.
3
).
The clock is now operative.
B. Manual commissioning
Tip:
If the clock does not synchronize itself during commissioning even
after several attempts, possibly due to a disturbed reception signal,
we recommend that you set the date and time as described in
section 5.4. The time switch will then attempt to synchronize itself
with the signal during the night hours.
Example:
The time switch has synchronized itself on 19. 5. 2000 at 9.25 h.
6.4 Forced transmitter call
Synchronization of the time switch is effected after commissioning and then daily
between 1.58 h and 3.13 h.
Radio synchronization can also be triggered manually during the day
(transmitter call)
Start of the transmitter call:
1.
Press the key
Dat
for approx. 3 secs.
2.
Then release it.
The time switch synchronizes itself with the DCF 77 signal.
The following can be seen on the LCD display:
The symbol
RC
only flashes during DCF 77 synchronization !
Once the time switch has synchronized itself a program review is effected.
Subsequently the channels adopt the switching statuses determined by the
individual program.
The symbol
RC
appears on the LCD display permanently.

2)
