2. Safety Regulations

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precau-
tions should always be followed, including the follow-
ing:

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND THOR-
OUGHLY BEFORE USING THE UNIT. 

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or
injury:

1. Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug

from outlet when not in use and before servicing.

2. Do not use outdoors. Use indoors only. Do not use

on wet surfaces.

3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance

is used near children. Do not allow to be used as a
toy.

4. Use only as described in this manual. Use only man-

ufacturer’s recommended attachments.

5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord

or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, is left
outdoors, dropped into water or is damaged in any
manner.

6. Do not pull or carry by cord, do not close a door

on cord or pull cord around  sharp edges or cor-
ners, do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord
away from heated surfaces.

7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp

the plug, not the cord.

8. Do not handle or connect appliance with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into unit openings. Do not

use any openings blocked; keep free of dust, lint,
hair and anything that may reduce airflow.

10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of

body away from openings and moving parts.

11. Keep end of hose, suction hose and other openings

away from the face and body.

12. Use extra caution when cleaning on stairs.
13. Keep work areas well lit.

14. Do not vacuum any electrical appliances while they

are plugged in.

15. Do not use this product to pick up sharp object,

metallic debris or large, solid objects (i.e., rocks or
pebbles), as product damage may result.

16. Do not pick up any liquids, toxic substances, flam-

mable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use
in areas where they be present.

17. Do not place or drop the product into water or other

liquids, if the product falls into water immediately
unplug it from the electrical outlet. Do not touch or
reach into water.

18. Do not use this product while standing in water or

on wet surfaces.

19. Do not vacuum burning or smoking materials, such

as lit cigarette butts, matches or hot ashes.

20. Do not use on or near hot surfaces. Keep cord away

from heated surfaces.

21. Do not use without dust container and filters in place.
22. Turn off the switch before unplugging.
23. Use only CE-approved extension cords. Non-

approved extension cords may overheat. Care
should be taken to arrange the cord so that the cord
cannot be pulled or tripped over.

24. Using improper voltage may result in damage to

the motor and possible injury to the user. The cor-
rect voltage is shown on the rating label.

25. Always wear the appropriate shoes and clothing

while operating this product.

26. Look on your hand-held vacuum cleaner and fol-

low all label and marking instructions.

WARNING: FOR BLOWING AND INFLATOR OPERATION:
1. The blower and inflator operation of this hand-held

vacuum cleaner can result in foreign objects being
blown into eyes, which can result in eye damage.
Always wear eye protection (not provided) when
operating as blower or inflator.

2. Do not permanently cover openings of inflator acces-

sories.

3. Take care when using inflator accessories, some sur-

faces may become warm.
