STEP 4 

Replace Transport Bung 

•

 

The machine is transported with a rubber 
bung within the hydraulic oil tank filler 
neck.  

•

 

Prior to operation, remove the bung and 
replace with the supplied breather & 
dipstick. 

•

 

Ensure is it securely positioned in the 
hydraulic oil tank filler neck. 

•

 

Refit the bung when the machine is moved 
offsite. 

 

STEP 5 

Familiarise yourself with the controls and 
features of this log splitter in the illustrations.

MOVING MACHINE TO WORK AREA 

The log splitter is equipped with 2 wheels for 

minor movement. Prior to any movement, 

ensure the breather is secure. To move the 

machine, stand at the rear, grab handle A and 

tilt the machine towards you slightly, being 

careful not to over balance.
