• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application described above.

Caution!

Risk of injury!

• Keep this device and the batteries out of reach of children. 
• Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years old).
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious inter-

nal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body,
seek medical help immediately.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. 

Risk of explosion!

• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Make sure the polarities are

correct. Never use a combination of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types. Remove the batteries if
the device will not be used for an extended period of time. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when
handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.

Important information on product safety!

• Unauthorised repairs, alterations or changes to the product are prohibited.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks. 
• Do not overload the scale (max. 5199 g). Do not use the scale as storage space.

Digital kitchen scale 

• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents. Not suitable for dishwasher.
• The device is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it from moisture! 
• Strong electromagnetic fields (e.g. cell phones) may impair the accuracy of the scale.
• The scale is not intended to be used for commercial purposes.

5. Getting started

• Open the battery compartment at the back with a suitable screwdriver (in direction of the arrow OPEN) Remove the battery

insulation strips. Carefully screw the battery cover back in place. 

• Press the 

ON/OFF

button to switch off the scale.

6. Use of the scale

• Place the scale on a flat solid surface. 
• In order to switch on the scale, press the 

ON/OFF

button.

• The backlight turns on and “HI” and “g” (default) appears on the display. 
• By pressing the 

ON/OFF

button, as long as “HI” is indicated on the display, the measuring unit can be changed.

• The sequence is shown as follows: g

fl’oz. Wait a few seconds to confirm the setting. 

• As soon as “0” (or “0.00”) appears on the display you can start weighing.
• Place the item to be weighed in the centre of the weighing platform.
• Your measured weight will be displayed in g (default) or in the weighting unit you have set.
• If no button is pressed within 30 seconds, the backlight switches off automatically. If you use the device or press the

ON/OFF

button, the backlight switches on again.

• If no button is pressed within 3 minutes, the scale switches off completely.

6.1 Tare function

• If you are using a bowl for measuring, put the bowl on the platform first and then turn on the scale. If the scale is already in

use, press the 

TARE

button to reset the display to “0”. 

• If you want to measure more than one ingredient in the same bowl, press the 

TARE

button before you put the new ingre-

dient into the bowl. The display always goes back to “0” and you can continue the measuring process without problems.

• The initial weight should not exceed 950 g (2.10 lb).
