Attach the 624023-4-0792 Hose Assembly (the end that is not connected to the 13125-04 Propeller
Nozzle) to the ZN6829 Fitting in the firewall at WL 80.77 adjacent to the fitting where you attached
the 624023-4-0454 Hose Assembly.

Install the lower left cowling panel, right upper engine cowling, and right nose cap. (Refer to the 208
Maintenance Manual, Chapter 71, Engine Cowling and Nose Cap - Maintenance Practices.)
4.
Do an inspection to make sure that the windshield spray bar has not been painted over.
5.
Fillet seal the edges of the porous panels as follows:
A.
(Refer to Figure 5.) Apply P840218 Tape to the leading edges of the panels that you will seal.
B.
Fillet seal around the edges of the porous panels with U470638 Sealant. Apply U470638 Sealant
as a fillet seal in the 0.12-inch space between the masking tape and the porous panel. Make sure
that the U470638 Sealant touches the edge of the porous panel at all positions. (Refer to the 208
Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Fuel, Weather, and High-Temperature Sealing - Maintenance
Practices and Chapter 30, TKS Anti-Ice Leading Edge Porous Panel - Maintenance Practices.)
6.
Get access for the return to service checks as follows:
A.
Remove the 503HB, 503DB, 503BB, 503AB, 501EB, and 501BB Access Plates from the left wing
and remove the 603HB, 603DB, 603BB, 603AB, 601EB, and 601BB Access Plates from the
right wing. (Refer to the Model 208 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and Panels
Identification - Description and Operation.)
B.
Remove the 373BL Access Plate from the left horizontal stabilizer and the 374BR Access Plate
from the right horizontal stabilizer. (Refer to the Model 208 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access
Plates and Panels Identification - Description and Operation.)
C.
Remove the 320A, 341C, and the 341B Access Plates and the 341A Access Plate (if installed) from
the vertical stabilizer. (Refer to the Model 208 Maintenance Manual, Chapter 6, Access Plates and
Panels Identification - Description and Operation.)
7.
Remove and discard the 6590335-2 PLACARD - INOP that is installed under the TKS switches on the
pilot's side anti-ice instrument panel.
8.
Remove the 2605071-1 FIKI Prohibited placard that is installed over the PFD.
9.
Review and incorporate the 208BPHCUS-S1-00 TKS Ice Protection System Pilot's Operating Handbook
Supplement and make sure that the 208BPHCUS-00 Pilot's Operating Handbook and FAA Approved
Airplane Flight Manual is updated to 208BPHCUS-01 (or latest revision).
10.
(Refer to Figure 4.) Uncollar and engage the Pri Anti-Ice, Backup Anti-Ice, and W/S Anti-Ice circuit
breakers.
CAUTION:
Before you begin the panel purge, you must make sure that the fillet seal is no
longer tacky.
NOTE: You can make test lines of TKS tubing. Shutoff valves or nylon balls and nuts as recorded in the
Tooling and the Material Information Sections of this service bulletin can be used to modulate flow
through the test lines. It is necessary to install a 0-200 psi fluid gauge in the empennage test
line only.
11.
Do the panel purge and complete system functional test as follows:
A.
Put a label on each wing tube assembly to make sure that you attach it to the correct related
proportioning tube port after you complete the functional test. Refer to Table 1.
