Range and Function Lock:
When a measurement is being displayed by the meter, press the
RANGE
or
SELECT
button momentarily to lock the range or function, respectively. If the
RANGE
button is pressed,
the
icon is no longer present on the LCD. To exit the range lock feature, press and hold the
RANGE
button for 1 second. The
icon will be present on the LCD when the button is no longer
pressed. Press the
SELECT
button momentarily to toggle between the different AutoCheck™ functions.
To exit this feature, press the
SELECT
button until “LoZAuto” is present on the LCD.

Meter-to-Computer Interface (optional):
This allows the user the ability to connect the meter to a
computer for data capture and real-time monitoring of the meter’s output. The connection is made via
RS-232 or USB. Press and hold the
HOLD
button while turning the rotary switch to the ON position to
activate the logging function.
Using the Test Leads
Electric shock hazard:
The test leads supplied with this product comply with safety standards that limit the exposed length of
the probe tip to 4 mm for measurement categories III and IV. These test leads include a cap that must be
in place when used in measurement category III or IV applications.
Failure to observe this warning could result in severe injury or death.
Cap must be in place for measurement category III or IV applications.
Cap can be removed for measurement category I or II applications.
