How to start a warm engine:
Same procedure as for a cold engine, but do not use the choke.
How to stop the engine
3. Release the throttle.
4. Move the switch to STOP.
Start operation:
This machine is intended for the cultivation of vegetable gardens and flowerbeds. It can also be equipped with
various accessories.
Move the start/stop switch to start. Place one hand on each of the handles. Pull the starter cord until the engine
starts. Then tilt the machine back onto the tine, so the blades are free of the ground. Activate the throttle a few
times so the blades rotate.
Lower the front of the machine until the blades begin to enter the earth, and start cutting.
To stop the engine, release the throttle and move the start /stop switch to stop.
Tine:
The setting of the tine determines the working depth. The longer
the tine setting, the deeper the machine will work in the earth.
The earth should typically be worked over 2-3 times in different
directions.
Cleaning after use:
The cultivator should be cleaned after every use. Use a garden
hose to rinse earth and dirt off. Remove couch grass, etc. from the
blade shaft. Merely wipe the chassis number with a damp cloth,
otherwise there is a risk it may become damaged. Never use a
high-pressure cleaner on the machine.
Note: the gear can become very
hot during operation
.
Distance pipe to blades:
Remember to stop the engine:
Detach the outermost blade and then position the bushing supplied to achieve the minimum cutting width.
Maintaining the gear:
The gear is lubricated at the factory. For subsequent filling, use multifak, e.g. EP-O, and fill until it runs out of the
filling hole when the machine is in a horizontal position.
