Upgrading the System with the Web Monitor

It is easy to upgrade your RamSan using the Web monitor if you have a
patch file. Patch files should be formatted “

rs500-<version>.patch

”.

From the Web monitor, expand the “

Management

” tab under the

“

Systems List

”. This will expose three sub-options. Highlight

“

Firmware

” – it will display the current RamSan-500 firmware version.

To update the firmware either right-mouse click and select “

Firmware

update…

” or left-mouse click the open box icon in the button bar. Both

methods bring up the patch file selector window.
