1.2 Jumper Settings and Test Points
The board jumpers and test points are illustrated in Figure 3 .

1. General purpose push button or MSP430 reset (J2)
Set to RESET for reset functionality or PUSH for general purpose push-button functionality.
2. Control Signal Test Point Header (H1)
This header can be used to monitor the control signals from the MCU. Remove the 0- Ω resistors to
supply external control signals for the DRV8701 to this header.
3. DRV8701 gate-drive current (J1)
Move this jumper to adjust the gate-drive current strength of the DRV8701.
