Rough direction of the antenna
You must connect the LNB cable to LNB before directing the
antenna.
NOTE
: For ease of alignment refer to APPENDIX 1 and the paper
“compass” at the end of this manual.
Caution!
While connecting the LNB cable, the receiver must not be
connected to the mains supply.
Ö
Screw the F plug on the LNB connection.
Ö
After installation, direct the antenna towards the satellite from
which you would like to receive signals. While doing this, set the
horizontal azimuth angle.
Ö
When you have directed the antenna towards your desired
satellite, you must set the elevation angle (vertical elevation
angle).
Ö
Unscrew the wing nuts (arrowed) for setting the elevation angle.
Move the antenna carefully back or forward by the required
degree.
L
The table on the next page will serve you as an orientation
for setting the corresponding elevation angle depending on
the location and the satellite to be received.
The satellite system has been designed for mobile use.
Therefore not at each location all satellites can be received
due to the size of the antenna. For this, we presume a
horizontal installation of the antenna.
