Troubleshooting
The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this doesn’t work, please contact our hotline (see page 3).
Take note of the warranty instructions.

The subwoofer doesn’t
work, the power LED

The subwoofer is off or doesn’t have any
power.
Turn the switch

Check the power cord and socket.
Fuse is defective.
Replace the fuse: discon-
nect the power cord.
Carefully pull out the fuse

Push the old fuse down
and out. If necessary,
insert a new fuse (5 A,
delayed action) and close
the holder.
The subwoofer is not work-
ing, but the display panel
is on.
The volume has been set too low.
Increase the volume by pushing the button

The subwoofer hums.
The subwoofer is connected to another
circuit than the rest of the system.
Connect the subwoofer and source device to
the same electric circuit.
The buzzing is caused by problems with
the power supply.
Buy a line fi lter and connect both devices to
it.
The buzzing is caused by a multi-way
socket.
Use another multi-outlet power strip or con-
nect the subwoofer directly to the wall socket.
It may also help to insert the power plug the
other way around.
The playback has interfer-
ence.
Generally speaking, this is a very low-
noise system. The system with exceptional
resolution in the high-range area can
expose the poor quality of a signal source
(e.g. from MP3 fi les) mostly.
Ensure that the source is sending a clear
signal.
The sound seems dull.
Satellites have been connected with incor-
rect poling.
Make sure the speaker cables of all satellites
are connected properly.
LS confi guration is not correct
Set the correct crossover frequency for your
satellite speakers and turn the menu item
“Phase” on and off for test purposes. Select
the setting with the best sound (see page 17).
