Dimmer
You can adjust the brightness of the display panel
with the button
38 “Dimmer”. The display brightness is
adjusted every time you push the button: bright, medium,
dark, off.
Equalizer
As with the menu function (see page 16), this provides
you with ultra fi ne sound adjustment in nine frequency
ranges.
Possible values: each from –20 dB (decrease) to +6 dB
(increase).
• Push the button 42 “Equalizer”.
• Select the desired channel by pushing the button 42
“Equalizer” several times or by using the navigation
buttons

• Select the desired frequency with the navigation but-

” and set the level from -20 dB (decrease)

Note: The equaliser is inactive with some high-defi nition
formats.
Tone/LipSync
You can set the sound and the audio delay with the but-
ton
30 “Tone/LipSync”.
Adjusting the sound
By briefl y tipping the button 30 “Tone/LipSync” you can
access the two sound adjustment areas in sequence: Bass
(low tones), Treble (high tones)
• You can now set the selected range from –10 dB to
+10 dB with the navigation buttons 31 “

/
▼
”.
• Push the button 32 “Return” to exit the setting.
Setting audio delay
Pushing and holding the button 30 “Tone/LipSync” for
more than one second allows you to set the value for the
audio delay (see the “Lip Sync” menu function on page
16) for the active input:
• The current value in milliseconds (ms) is shown in the
display panel and on the screen.
• With the buttons 31 “

” set the audio delay from 0
to 100 ms.
• Push the button 32 “Return” to exit the setting.
Direct
In direct mode, the audio signal is emitted without sound
adjustment.
• Briefl y pushing the button
39 “Direct” displays the cur-
rent setting:
Direct OFF – Normal mode with sound adjustment
Direct Mode – Direct mode without sound adjustment
• Tipping the button 39 “Direct” again switches the
mode.
Info
Pushing the button 40 “Info” displays information on the
current audio signal on the screen and in the display pan-
el for approx. three seconds, e.g. “48KHz 2.1 Stereo”.
Sleep
You want to fall asleep in your comfortable home cin-
ema? This automatic sleep function will help by turning
the subwoofer off after a preset time (max. 60 minutes).
• Push the button
24 “Sleep” briefl y to display the sleep
mode status:
“Sleep Mode OFF” – Function disabled.
“Timing xxmin” – Will be deactivated in xx minutes.
• With the navigation buttons 31 “

/
▼
”, select the
desired time for activating sleep mode from 15 to 60
minutes.
• Push the button 32 “Return” to exit the setting.
The system will power down automatically after the
preset time has elapsed.
