Application/Adjustment
Donning
• Orient the black brim guard (found
on the inside of the sleeve) toward
the front of the socket.
• Center the black brim guard on the
anterior proximal socket trim line.
• The exposed gel area above and
below the partial fabric cover should
contact the skin (or liner) and socket,
respectively.
• For the best seal ensure that the gel
of the sleeve seals to the exposed
gel of the Alpha Liner.
Donning the Alpha Hybrid Sleeve; the
brim guard is facing anterior (fig.1).
Taking Measurements
Proximal circumfe-
rence is measured
15 cm above the
knee center.
Distal circumference
is measured around
the center of the
knee.
