Cleaning/Maintenance
Daily Cleaning and Drying
Proper hygiene is extremely important
when using an Alpha liner. The liner
must be thoroughly cleaned at the end
of each day of wear and disinfected
once a week. We highly recommend
having two liners so that you can
wear one while cleaning and drying
the other.
1.
Invert the liner and thoroughly clean
it with lukewarm tap water and mild
body soap (we recommend using
soap with a pH-value of 5.5). Apply
the soap with a clean, soft cloth.

Please Note:
Do not scrub the liner.
Scrubbing can roughen the surface of
the liner, which may then irritate the
skin and damage the liner.

Rinse all the soap residue from the
liner with water. (Fig. 14)
3.
Pat the silicone/gel dry with a clean,
lint-free cloth. (Fig. 15)
4.
Place the liner with the fabric side/
the outside out on the drying stand.*
(Fig. 16) Clean your limb with soap and
rinse well.
*Drying stands are not included with
Alpha Basic Liners.
