This manual is an integral part of the product and therefore must be filed away for eventual future consultation.
It is also available in the download area of the www.teuco.com website.
For a correct installation carefully follow the instructions written in this manual.
Assembly instructions, tools utilised and materials recommended must be respected, as well as the accessories supplied with the
product.
Carefully check for any defects after unpacking the product.
The completed installation does not include a guarantee cover for damage caused by knocks or abrasions.
The walls and floor of the installation zone of the sauna must be adequately levelled and free from unevenness.
The electrical installation must be carried out respecting that indicated in the "General Instructions for Installation" manual supplied with
the product.
Before connecting the product, check that the nameplate data correspond with those of the electricity mains circuit.
Utilise only material supplied with the product when installing the product.
Not respecting this requirement brings about the cancellation of any responsibility by Teuco S.p.a.
The power cable installation must be carried out by the installer. The wires must be type H05VV-F HAR.
The cable diameter must be suitable to the cable gland PG21 supplied (13 mm min - 18 mm max):
• SINGLE-PHASE CONNECTION: minimum section of conductors 4 sq.mm (for 2 m cable).
• THREE-PHASE CONNECTION: minimum section of conductors 2.5 sq.mm (for 2 m cable).
An incorrect installation can cause injury/damage to persons, things or animals.
Teuco will not respond to any damage caused by an incorrect installation.
The responsibility for testing the installation is the competence of the installer.
For the guarantee to be acknowledged, the product must be installed as supplied.
The installation must be carried out respecting all norms in force in the destination country.
The data and characteristics reported in this manual do not commit Teuco S.p.A., who reserves the right to make modifications thought
opportune without the obligation of prior notice or substitution.
Contact the technical assistance department of Teuco S.p.a. for extraordinary maintenance interventions.
In case the Y-type power cable is damaged, it is to be replaced by skilled technical personnel only.
Carefully follow the instructions reported in this manual when installing the sauna, as well as the instructions attached or reported about
the heater, controls or other supplied components. An incorrect installation can cause injury/damage to persons, things and animals.
The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage
caused by an incorrect installation.
The heater must be installed maintaining a correct distance from wood parts. Carefully follow the instructions reported in this manual
regarding the fixing of the metal support bracket that must be carried out in the position foreseen by Teuco S.p.a.
It is forbidden to obstruct the aeration ducts or the intake grills.
Carefully follow the instructions reported in this manual for the correct use of the sauna. This product is destined only for the use for
which it has been conceived. The manufacturer will not respond for eventual damage caused by improper use.
The sauna must be utilised only by adults and persons in good health. Children and disabled persons can utilise the sauna under
continuous surveillance. Do not put animals in the sauna. Do not use the sauna wearing objects that could deteriorate or become
dangerous in the presence of high temperatures (e.g., glasses).
It is necessary to ask the opinion of a doctor before using the sauna in the case of illness, old persons with high blood pressure, pregnant
women and in cases of persons not in perfect health, etc.
Persons affected by a heart condition, inflammations, contagious diseases, epilepsy and persons with a pacemaker fitted must not use
the sauna.
Because the door of the sauna must be narrow to limit heat escaping from the sauna, be careful of the low step and the upper edge of
the door frame when entering and exiting to avoid tripping or banging the forehead.
The length of time in the sauna must be based upon the temperature set and the supportability of the user. Avoid exaggerating and exit
the sauna immediately if feeling fatigued.
Whilst the sauna is functioning, the heater and the stones in the heater can become very hot (and also the air above the heater), therefore
there is the danger of being burned. It is absolutely forbidden to touch the heater or the stones or to get excessively near to them.
Furthermore, it is forbidden to remove the protection grill of the heater where present.
