6. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION (Fig.11)
6.1.
Requirements to the installation area.

WARNING!:
Installation, commissioning and maintenance of the device must be performed by qualified and authorized
personnel. Do not attempt to install the device yourself.
The installation of the device must be carried out in a suitable place in order to allow the normal use and adjustment opera
-
tions, together with ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to be performed. Therefore, it is important to allow the necessary working
space by referring to the dimensions, shown in Fig. 12a.
The appliance must be installed in accordance with the normal trade practices and in compliance with the national legislation (EU
electricity directives and regulations concerning special installations and places of operation including bathrooms, shower cabins
HD60364-7-701(IEC 60364-7-701:2006)).
In case this appliance is to be used in a bathroom or other similar room, the following installation requirements must be observed:
Do not install it in “Volume 2” (see Fig.11) in order to avoid the risk of the control board (power switch and thermo regulator) being
reached by a person who is in a shower or a bathtub.

The premises (room) must:
• Have adequate water and power supply lines; 12a
• Be available and ready for connection to the condense drain;
• Be available and ready with adequate discharge pipes in case of damage caused to the boiler or actuation

• Have containment systems in case of serious water leaks;
• Be sufficiently lit (where appropriate);
• To have a volume not less than 20 m³;
• To be frost-proof and dry (room temperature >4

C).
• If the appliance has to be installed in a room or location with an ambient temperature always above 35°C, this room must be
ventilated.

Ensure that the wall on which the appliance will be mounted can support the weight of the appliance filled with water. Mini
-
mum 250kg.
•
The appliance is equipped with four hook-anchors for concrete wall mounting. Be careful of pipes and cables hidden in the
wall!!! Provide a minimum distance to the ceiling of 220 mm for easy servicing.
•
The unit should be horizontally leveled or with small incline backwards (to the wall): 0 … 1° see Fig.16. In this case, the lower
hook-anchors could be used in order to regulate the appliance. Additional plastic sleeves (2) could be insert between the wall and the
support bracket (Fig.16) to achieve angle between 0 and 1o.

To allow the possible exchange of the heating element, anode or safety thermostat, it is advisable to leave a clearance of
450 mm beneath the appliance.

WARNING!:

It is strongly recommended using a floor support structure (Fig. 16d). This support is a separate order.
•
When installing the support, it is obligatory to fix the appliance to the wall by upper hanging hook 1 (Fig.16d).

The appliance must be precisely vertically leveled or with slight incline of 1o towards the wall. (Fig. 16d). This
leveling could be done by regulating three legs of the support
