2.4 Oscillatory magnetic fields
Oscillatory magnetic fields tests, simulate the type of interference produced by the
switching of medium and high voltage switchgears, as specified in IEC/EN 61000-
4-10.
Magnetic fields of this type can upset the operation of installations that find them-
selves within such fields.
For testing to IEC 61000-4-10, the INA 703 can be connected to an appropriate slow
oscillatory wave generator.
For this test a single loop (1 turn) will be used.
