Between one pressure and the other, let it pass a few seconds before pressing
the button (3) again, in order to give to the steam generator time to recharge.
For a better result, keep the soleplate at a distance of nearly 15 cm ( 6 inches)
from the cloth surface in order to achieve a more even result and to avoid any
damage to delicate fabrics.
CAUTION! NEVER direct the steam toward people or
animals.
10 – WATER SPRAY
Depress trigger button (17) in order to spray out water from nozzle (1). It allow to
wet stubborn creases. The water spray can be used with any temperature setting.
11 – ANTI-DRIP SYSTEM
Automatically avoids draining water droplets from the soleplate when soleplate
temperature is too low (eg. during heating up).
12 – AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF
The V apor Z eta iron is provided with 2 automatic safety switch off modes.
1-Leaving it in vertical position without moving, laying on the back cover, iron
switch automatically off after 8 minutes, red indicator light (7) blink and one
intermittent sound is emitted.
2-Leaving it in horizontal or sidewise position without moving (eg. It has fall
down), iron automatically switch off after 30 seconds, red indicator light (7) blink
and one intermittent sound is emitted.
To restart the iron, pick up the iron or move it significantly, the red indicator light
(7) stop to blink and light steady; when red indicator light (7) go off means
soleplate temperature is ready again for use.
13 – AFTER THE USE
After use, turn off the iron by disconnecting the plug (10) from the socket,
turn the temperature knob (14) fully counterclockwise until "OFF" is at the
reference mark (13), clear residual water from water tank by opening the front
hatch (2) and, turning the iron over, drain the water into a sink.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down prior to winding the
cord (9) around the iron.
