5 – SWITCHING ON
To turn the iron ON , once the tank has been filled and the temperature has set,
insert the plug (10) into the socket; the iron turns on and the red indicator light (7)
lights up during heating.
When the iron reaches the selected temperature, the red temperature indicator (7)
turns off, iron is ready to iron.
Then, during operation, the red light (7) will turn on and off whenever the
thermostat requires power to keep the soleplate (11) temperature at the value you
set.
6 – DRY IRONING
In order to iron cloth without steam, set temperature knob (14) to temperatures
with symbol: it is the choice for delicate fabrics or for finishing works.
7– STEAM IRONING
In order to iron cloth with steam, fill the water tank according to chapter 3
indications, up to the
MAX
level mark (16), set temperature knob (14) to
temperatures with symbol even accordingly to the fabric suitable
temperature as indicated in chapter 4 “TEMPERATURE SETTING” .

eta iron automatically adjust the steam quantity as function of the selected
fabric/temperature.
8 – STEAM-SHOT
In order to use the steam-shot, set temperature knob (14) to (••) or above.
Depressing the steam-shot pushbutton (3) a powerful steam jet is generated
mainly from the tip area of the soleplate (11). Its main use is to remove stubborn
creases. Between one pressure and the other, let it pass a few seconds before
pressing the button (3) again, in order to give to the steam generator time to
recharge.
Excessive use of this feature will cause the iron to cool down, ensure that the
indicator light (7) go OFF, before operating the steam-shot pushbutton (3) again.
9 – VERTICAL IRONING
In order to use vertical ironing, set temperature knob (14) to (••) or above.
Hold iron in vertical position and depress steam-shot pushbutton (3) in order to
“refresh” or to remove creases from garments (suites, skirts, courtains) directly on
