III. HOME & OFFICE USES
•
Punch a hole in a shoe-box, insert the tube, and
deodorize smelly shoes
, workout clothes,
toys, gloves, scarves, and other items of clothing that pick up bad smells.
•
Insert the hose in a garment bag to
remove the smell of cigarette smoke
and other strong
odors from suits, jackets, dresses, and other dry-clean-only garments.
•
Run Oz in your garage to remove the
smell of gasoline
.
•
Place the Oz hose directly on
mold and mildew spots
on upholstery and carpet.
•
Rinse
pacifiers
in ozonated water, or ozonate the water before
doing dishes.
To clean counters, sinks, floors, etc:
Submerge a clean sponge in approximately 24 oz. of
water
(in a non-metallic container)
. Ozonate for 10 minutes. Remove the sponge and set
it aside on a clean surface. Empty the water and refill the container with the water you’ll
use for washing. Ozonate 5 minutes for each 12 oz. Immediately wipe down the object
to be cleaned using plenty of water with the sponge. Allow ozonated water to sit for 5
minutes and then dry as desired.
To remove chlorine from water for houseplants:
5 minutes per 12 oz. Pour ozonated
water on houseplants immediately for best results, or store in a container. The chlorine
will not return.
To clean miscellaneous objects:
Submerge waterproof objects in a
non-metallic
container
of water and ozonate for desired length of time.
