MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 80 Hours of Use)
1. Check fluid level in battery cells (See BATTERY
MAINTENANCE).
2. Clean battery tops to prevent corrosion (See
BATTERY MAINTENANCE).
3. Check for loose or corroded battery cables.
4. Remove inline strainer filter and rinse out. Before
removing filter, be certain solution tank is empty.
Filter is located under machine at rear (Figure 30).

5. Lubricate caster grease fittings with a water
resistant grease.
6. Lubricate all linkage pivot points with silicone
spray then coat with a water resistant grease to
maintain a smooth operation.
7. Check machine for water leaks and loose nuts and
bolts.
QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 250 Hours of Use)
Check the drive transaxle motor, the vacuum motor
and the brush motor for carbon brush wear. Replace
carbon brushes when worn to a length of
0.38 in / 10 mm or less.
Contact an Authorized Service Center for machine
repairs.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, all repairs
must be performed by a qualified service person.
WARNING: Electrical Hazard. Disconnect
Battery Cables Before Servicing Machine.
SQUEEGEE BLADE REPLACEMENT
The squeegee has two squeegee blades. The rear
squeegee blade has four wiping edges, the front blade
has two wiping edges. When the blades become worn,
simply rotate the blades to a new wiping edge.
Replace blade if all wiping edges are worn.
Rotating or replacing the rear blade:
1. Remove the squeegee assembly from the machine.
2. Loosen the band clamp and remove the band from
the squeegee assembly (Figure 31).

3. Rotate the rear blade to a new wiping edge and
reinstall the band (Figure 32).

Rotating or replacing the front blade:
1. Remove the squeegee assembly from the machine.
2. Remove the six thumbscrews holding the retainer
and squeegee blade to the squeegee frame.
Rotate the squeegee blade end for end to allow a
new edge to face the front of the machine. Make
sure the notched edge of the blade is facing
downward (Figure 33).
