17 Troubleshooting
If nothing happens after switching the INNOVA 3000 on:
-First, check the power. Is there any power on the wall outlet?
-Is the computer switched on? Press the main switch on the front of the computer inside the cabinet, if required.
-Check the measuring unit is switched on with the main switch at the back, on the connection panel. If the LED in
front of the INNOVA does not light then isolate the power from the wall and check the switch fuses and plug fuse, as
appropriate and replace if necessary. If the problem persists, please contact your service provider.
If there is a communication fault, check the serial communication cable between the PC and the COM2 port of the
sampling/measure unit. In addition, it is a good idea to power down the INNOVA 3000 and power up again (Make
sure Windows is shut down first). If this fault persists then please contact your service provider.
DO NOT UNSCREW OR ATTEMPT TO SERVICE THE EQUIPMENT. THIS WILL VOID THE MANUFACTURER
’S
WARRANTY AND VOID THE CALIBRATION REQUIRED FOR MOT TESTING. SERVICING AND CALIBRATION
SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED UKAS ACCREDITED PERSONNEL ONLY.
