16 Maintenance
The INNOVA 3000 requires very little care and maintenance. It is recommended that surfaces are cleaned
periodically with a dry cloth and an automotive polish may be applied to painted surfaces. Use as directed by the
manufacturer of the cleaning/polishing agent.
The filters should be cleaned or replaced frequently. With normal to heavy use it is advisable to frequently check or
replace the fine filter and wash the pre-filter, in the drain separator.
To clean or replace the filters of the drain separator, please follow these steps:
Remove the transparent part of the drain separator by unscrewing it.
Remove the black plastic upper ring by unscrewing it.
Remove the fine filter (at the top).
Remove the intermediate ring.
Remove the washable pre-filter (at the bottom).
Clean or replace the filters and reassemble the drain separator.
Replace the plastic ring and transparent part of the drain separator by screwing it back on.
IMPORTANT!
Filter maintenance should be carried out frequently. Contaminated filters can cause problems with
the water drain system and subsequently cause serious damage to the internal Gasbench.
Always use original filters and never use filters which contain metal parts.
It is recommended that the fine filter is replaced when it is a dark grey colour or has become saturated with water.
The Pre-filter, In-line filter and Carbon filter should be replaced together, at the same time and depending on usage.
