Communicating data
9
The PTC-960RL is able to communicate with other
PTCs, computers, and external accessories such as
printers. It can both send and receive data and
instructions. Communication is controlled by your
organization’s application program. See the manual or
instructions provided by your organization for details
on conducting communication sessions.
The PTC-960RL is designed to use its internal radio
as its primary means of communicating with a host
computer, but it can also communicate by being
connected directly to the host computer via cable or by
being placed in a communication cradle that is
connected to the host computer. Accessories such as
printers are connected to the PTC with a cable.
