regardless

To
enable
NIC
Redundancy,
exactly
2
interfaces
must
be
selected
per
channel.
NIC
Redundancy
can
be
used
for
applications
that
require
high
availability
and
have
redundant
streaming
paths
downstream
of
the
HyperCaster.
Switch
Settings

–

Select
a
switch
input
for
this
channel
from
the
drop-down
list,
if
applicable.

Switch
Output
–
(For
systems
with
a
switch)
Select
a
switch
output
for
this
channel
from
the
drop-down
list.
Set
Multicast
TTL
If
you
are
multicasting
any
of
your
channels,
you
can
configure
the
Multicast
TTL
(time-to-liv
e)
by
going
back
to
the
Config
Tab
-->
Channels
Section
-->
IP
Multicast
TTL.
Enter
the
number
of
router
hops
the
system
should
attempt
when
forwarding
a
multica
st
packet
and
click
the
Save
button.
Entering
0
has
the
same
effect
as
pressing
the
Cancel
button.
The
change
will
take
effect
next
time
the
server
is
rebooted.
Continuity
Continuity
is
automatic
programming
that
plays
to
fill
gaps
when
no
other
programming
is
scheduled
for
a
channel.
For
example,
some
installations
play
a
bulletin
board
or
broadcast
digital
signage
such
as
InfoVue
when
no
other
programming
is
scheduled.
