UART TX Usage 

TX

: NMEA message output 

RX: 

NMEA proprietary commands, RTCM SC-104 input and EPO data. 

TX/RX is also used to Re-flash the module  

 

UART Port Operation 

The UART port is full-duplex and supports configurable baud rates.  

Frame is 8 bits, no parity bit, and 1 stop bit. 

The idle state of UART TX is logic high.  
The default rate of 9600 bps can be changed via a 

$PMTK251

 command. 

 

TX/RX Signal Levels 

The input and output levels are LVTTL compatible. 
Do not backdrive the RX pin when the module is powered down.
