4.4 Indicators and icons
On your phone, you have three types of identifiers: indicators, icons and LED.
Icons are graphical representations of a specific item or situation. For example, an
icon appears when you have a voice message waiting to be heard.
Indicators show the status of the phone. The phone uses four types of indicators:
•
Signal strength indicator: This indicator shows the
signal strength of the wireless network at your current
location. The four bar, the stronger signal.
•
Battery power indicator: This indicator shows the
battery charge level. The three bar, the more power in the
battery.
•
Handset volume indicator: This indicator appears only
when you press the volume key. It shows how loud (or not)
the volume is during the phone call.
•
LED indicator : This indicator turns on when the phone is
being charged, and blinks when the phone is being received
the call, SMS, or voice message.
