6. SOS MODE FUNCTION
Tip:
This phone has a built-in Emergency SOS feature that in case of an
accident can directly connect you with preset emergency numbers.
When you request an assistance with the Emergency SOS Key, the phone
automatically calls the assigned emergency numbers.
Go to
Menu > SOS
, press
Left Soft
key, you will see following options:
Owner info
Edit the phone owner info for SOS help.
Button active
Turn on & off the SOS button.
Number list
Enter up to 5 emergency numbers.
Emergency SMS
Activate/deactivate the Emergency SMS sending and
edit the emergency SMS message sent to the emergency
numbers.
Emergency alert
Turn on & off the Emergency SOS alert.
Making an emergency call
To make an emergency call, press and hold the Emergency key on the back of your phone
for 3 seconds. The phone will then call the numbers on the
Number list
one after the
other, three times. If the call is not answered within 20 seconds, the phone will call the next
number, and so on.
In the
Owner info
menu, you can enter information about yourself: name, disease(s),
allergies, blood group, etc. It is automatically shown on the phone screen in emergency
situations.
In the
Button active
menu, selec
t On / Off
to activate / deactivate the SOS function.
Editing number list
You can add up to five emergency contacts (your relatives, friends, special services, etc.).
Remember to inform these contacts that they are on your emergency list.
1. Select the first contact, press
Left Soft
key.
2. Select
Contact input
to access the phone book to select a contact or select
Manual
input
to insert a new number using keypad. Press
Left Soft
key to validate.
3. Scroll to the next SOS contact and repeat the same procedure to add another person.
4. To edit /delete a SOS contact, select the contact and press
Left Soft
key, select
Edit /
Delete
.
NOTE:
By selecting
Delete
, you delete the registered contact and the space is empty.
