Get started – BlackBerry
The following instructions only concern BlackBerry devices. Please
be aware that the installation process may differ between phone
models.
1. Please read the instructions that came with your GPS receiver.
Charge the GPS receiver before you turn it on. Make sure that it
has a clear view of the sky; e.g. put it next to a window if you are
inside a building or on the dashboard of your car (points 1.,2.and
8. are not relevant to for devices with built-in GPS)
2. Before you start Navigace you need to pair your GPS receiver with
your phone:
• Go to
Settings in the main menu of the phone and select
Bluetooth
.
• Make sure that Bluetooth is set to Enabled . Press the menu key
and select
Add device
.
• The phone will now start searching for available units. Select
your GPS receiver from the list.
3. Verify that you have internet–/WAP access:
a) Look for the icon in the main menu called “Internet Browser”.
If this is present, please go directly to step 4.
b) Go into Settings > Advanced Options > Service Book . If this
view is empty, please contact O

to have service entries sent to
your device. Once you have the service entries, please begin
from
a)
.
c) If your BlackBerry is connected to a
BlackBerry Enterprise
Server, please check with your server administrator to see if
you can access the internet with applications such as

2
Navigace.
