III.Connect the GPS receiver
1. Please read the instructions that came with your GPS receiver.
Charge the GPS receiver before you turn it on. Make sure that
it has a clear view of the sky; e.g. put it by a window if you are
inside a building or on the dashboard of your car.
Sometimes a PIN code is required when connecting the GPS receiver. Most
devices use 0000. If this does not work, please check with your supplier
to determin the correct PIN code.

Navigace. In some cases your GPS receiver will be
connected through a set up guide that will start automatically. If not,
please follow the instructions below:
• Keypad phones : Select Menu/
Options > Connect to GPS
from the
main menu.*
• Sony Ericsson touchscreen phones : Select
More/ Navigace >
Connect to GPS

• Windows Pocket PC phones : Click on this icon *
3. The mobile phone will search for available Bluetooth units. Select
your Bluetooth GPS receiver from the list.
4. When the GPS receiver has pinpointed your position, the quality
of your GPS position or or
will be shown in the
display of your mobile phone. It usually takes about 30 seconds
for the GPS receiver to find your position when turned on. In some
cases it could take a few minutes. Please note that the first
time you
do this, it could take up to 20 minutes.
